HP ENVY 6022e All-in-One Printer

I have just purchased the HP Envy 6022e printer less than a week ago. I installed the inks and I have printed 22 sheets of A4 colour. It has now run out. How many sheets should I expect to print. My previous printer yielded nearly 50 sheets on XL! This printer is no good to me if that,s all I can print as I use a lot! Thanks in advance.

Hi @JillM56 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your frustration with running out of ink so quickly, especially when you're accustomed to getting more mileage out of your cartridges. The number of pages you can print with a cartridge can vary based on several factors, including the content of the pages you're printing, the settings you use, and the specific printer model.

However, typically, HP provides an estimated page yield for their ink cartridges based on standard testing protocols. For the HP 305XL ink cartridge, the estimated page yield is usually around 240 pages for color prints. Keep in mind that this is an approximate figure, and your actual yield may vary depending on the factors mentioned earlier.

If you're consistently getting significantly fewer prints than the estimated yield, it might be worth checking your printer settings to ensure you're not using excessive ink.

I hope this helps.
