I don’t have the setup cartridges! How do I bypass?

See if this works let me know if it does.  It is like a secret handshake.

 Remove all paper from the printer

1. On the control panel, touch the Home and Back buttons in this sequence:

Home button once>>>>Back button twice>>>>>Home button once
1 Open the ink cartridge access door, and then close it. A Load Paper message displays on the control panel display, and the printer begins initializing.

2. If the initialization does not begin, repeat steps a and b until the initialization begins.

3. Follow the prompts on the control panel display to complete initialization

For Wi-Fi direct setup click here. This is convenient if you have no modem or you do not want to give someone access to your modem but you want to let them print something
