i have this printer im trying to sign up for instaink and the printer itself has no ink in it and i cant get past that message. need an override of some sort. also when connecting printer to my laptop its requesting a passcode inwhich i dont have which is why i need to do a factory reset. this was gifted to me so please help. ***-hp photosmart c309g all in one***

 

now this other hp photo smart my sister has keeps getting cartridge issues as wel and wont print. the ink came from walmart and worked for a while but all in all its saying carriage jam. cleared everything and did the lil youtube video to clear that error message and it never cleared. wanted to sign her up for instaink as well but cant do anything without pressing the info buuton for 3 second and then the reprint button as instructed on insta ink that printer is ***-hp photosmart C4280 all in one***

 

my newest BRAND NEW* business printer is ***ENVY 6052*** AND ITS HAVING TRAY OPEN ERROR ISSUES AND WEVE DONE EVERY OPTION AND HARD RESET AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK.HP SUPPORT IS DRAINING. I SPENT THE ENTIRE DAY FROM 10;30AM TO 6PM AT NIGHT SEAKING WITH DIFFERENT REPS AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. WAITING AGAIN TO HEAR BACK AFTER HOURS OF WAITIN ON 1OUT OF 4 REPS TO CALL ME BACK

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are trying to enroll your Photosmart in instant ink and receiving a tray open error on ENVY 6052.

 

HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One Printer is not eligible for the instant ink service.

 

Check for jams or broken parts on your envy printer to resolve the error.

 

Try the below suggestions -

 

Reset the product

 

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 

Remove any jammed paper from the input tray and clean out the area.

  1. Pull out the input tray, and then remove any paper.

  2. Look inside the input tray and use both hands to remove any jammed paper or debris inside the printer.

  3. Turn off the printer, and then disconnect the power cord.

  4. Holding the top of the printer with one hand, turn the printer on its side, and then slide the input tray up to access the cleanout area under the printer.

  5. Tilt the printer down to clearly view the cleanout area, and then use both hands to remove any jammed paper or debris inside the printer.

  6. Check for and remove any paper in the paper pick rollers.

  7. Return the printer to its normal position.

  8. Reload paper, and then close the input tray.

  9. Lift the ink cartridge access door and remove any loose objects that might have shifted when the printer was turned on its side.

  10. Close the ink cartridge access door.

  11. Reconnect the power cord, and then turn on the printer.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware  

 

You may refer to -HP DeskJet, ENVY 6000, 6400 printers - E4 (Paper jam) error 

 

If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
