Hi @MillGRFX,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To change your HP DeskJet 2734e from printing in black and white to color, follow these steps.
For Windows:
- Open the document or image you want to print.
- Click File, then select Print.
- Select your HP DeskJet 2734e printer.
- Click on Printer Properties, Preferences, or Options (varies based on the program).
- Go to the Color or Quality tab.
- Look for an option like Print in Grayscale and uncheck it to enable color printing.
- Ensure Color is selected instead of Black & White.
- Click OK to save the settings, then Print.
For macOS:
- Open the document or image you want to print.
- Click File, then select Print.
- In the print dialogue, click on the Show Details button if necessary to expand the print options.
- Select your HP DeskJet 2734e printer.
- From the drop-down menu, look for Color Options.
- Ensure Color is selected rather than Black & White or Grayscale.
- Click Print.
Make sure the color cartridges are installed and have ink, and that the print settings are set to color, not grayscale, to enable color printing.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
