HP Recommended

Getting ink streaks on the left and right side of the Laserjet Tank 2504 from printing. Have tried to clean the drum from the back access panel but is useless due to the small confined space. This is my second printer that has caused this issue within 7 months of ownership. Is there actually a way to clean these or are they just expensive paper weights after several months?
