Product: HP OfficeJet 6956 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP OfficeJet 6956 All-in-one-Printer.  It has always been printing brilliantly.

I put a new non HP cartridge with trepidation knowing the potential problem.

it printed brilliantly ... that is until I had to change my modem...

when I got the printer hooked up again, I could scan...

an error message came : cartridge missing or non HP cartridge.

what can I do?  I can't afford the HP cartridges...
