If you are having the same issue as I has, with vertical lines, I found something that helped to improve it on youtube, other HP answers did not help at all for me.  See:

Can't link youtube here, search for "How to Fix Poor Print Issue in HP Neverstop Laser Printer? 1200a, 1200w, 1000a, 1000w".

Basically it leads you in cleaning the rim of the thing that spreads the toner. It is more difficult than it seems to do, so do this only if you have some experience taking electronics apart.

Hello @AleSw ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thanks for sharing what you found — I appreciate you taking the time to post those links and suggestions.

However, I want to point out a couple of things for anyone else reading:

If someone wants to try cleaning toner rollers or corona wires, please make sure:

  • You have the correct model instructions

  • You work in a dust-free, well-lit area

  • You don’t touch electrical contacts or sensitive components

Again, thanks for contributing your research — just wanted to clarify for others who might be trying to solve the same problem.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
