Hi @BB0205,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
White vertical lines in your printouts from the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer could be caused by several factors, such as clogged printheads, low ink levels, or misaligned printheads. Here's how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
Check Ink Levels
- Ensure the ink cartridges have enough ink. Low ink levels can cause printing issues.
- Replace any cartridges that are low or empty.
Clean Printheads
White lines may indicate clogged nozzles on the printhead. Use the printer's built-in utility to clean the printheads:
- On the printer control panel, go to Setup (gear icon) > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
- The printer will run a cleaning cycle and may ask you to print a test page. You might need to perform this process a few times if the lines persist.
Align Printheads
Misalignment can cause print quality problems:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to print an alignment page and scan it if necessary.
Perform Printhead Calibration
Sometimes, calibration is required to fix print quality issues:
- Go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Print Quality Toolbox and run the calibration.
Manually Clean the Printheads
If the automatic cleaning doesn't resolve the issue, you can try cleaning the printheads manually:
- Turn off the printer and open the printhead access door.
- Carefully remove the printhead and clean it with a lint-free cloth and distilled water. Avoid touching the electrical contacts.
Check for Software or Driver Issues
- Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for your printer model.
Check the Paper and Print Settings
- Ensure that you are using the correct type of paper and that your print settings (e.g., paper type, quality) match your paper.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
