I would like to know if my printer is compatible to print in white. I am trying to print direct to film.

Hi @Ash3333,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the HP DeskJet 2752 All-in-One Printer unfortunately cannot print in white directly. Inkjet printers like this one use colored inks to create an image on the paper, and white ink is not a standard color included.

Direct-to-film printing typically requires a special type of printer that uses white ink or toner that can adhere to transparency film. These are usually industrial or professional-grade printers.

Here are some alternative solutions for achieving white on your film project:

  • Use a different printer: Look into printers specifically designed for direct to film printing. These may use white ink or toner and offer features for compatibility with transparency film.
  • Print on white film: If your project allows, you could find pre-treated white film for inkjet printers. This would allow your colored inks to show up on a white background.
  • Print on clear film and apply white backing: Print your design on a transparency sheet, then apply a separate layer of white opaque film behind it. This can be done with adhesive vinyl or another suitable material.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
