HP Instant Ink is a subscription service that delivers ink to your doorstep when your printer detects that it is running low. If you want to disable or opt out of HP Instant Ink, follow these general steps. Keep in mind that the steps might vary slightly depending on your specific printer model:

Access the HP Instant Ink Account:

  • Go to the HP Instant Ink website and log in to your account using your credentials.

Cancel the Service:

  • Once logged in, navigate to the "My Account" or "Account Settings" section.
  • Look for an option to cancel or opt-out of the service. This is typically found in the subscription or billing settings.

Follow the Prompts:

  • The website should guide you through the cancellation process. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your decision.

Turn Off Web Services on the Printer:

  • On your printer, access the control panel or touchscreen interface.
  • Look for an option related to web services, instant ink, or ePrint.
  • Disable any services related to Instant Ink or automatic ink delivery.

Remove Instant Ink Cartridges (Optional):

  • If your printer came with Instant Ink cartridges, you might want to replace them with regular ink cartridges to avoid any confusion.

Restart the Printer:

  • After making changes, restart your printer to apply the settings.
