Hi, I'm wondering on how I could get my printer to recognize the genuine HP 680 ink cartridge bought here in the Philippines in replacement for the HP 652 cartridge? The printer (HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4535 All-in-one Printer) was bought by my dad in the Middle East (Kuwait) and is brought back to the Philippines. And now that we have no means/ways of getting/buying the ink cartridges there, we were inclined to buy the cartridges here in the Philippines. Now, we're having a difficult time to make the printer recognize it. I believe it has something to do with the 'region' code or something. Please help. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Yes, we'll have to do a region reset.
To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.
Please do let us know.
