Mfp128fw is not recognizing genuine hp toner 83A.
I bought 3 times wasting nearly CHF 250/-
I should have bought a new printer 🙄
- What a messy thing HP is creating, forcing us to buy genuine HP toner and the printer doesn't recognize the HP genuine toner 😳😲🙄🙄
Reinstalling the software doesn't work 🤔🙄

Can you remove the toner cartridge and take a picture of the printer's interior and post it here?
There is a sensor lever that prevents it from recognising genuine HP toner, and I might guide you on where to check.

Hello, thank you for replying.
I am attaching the pictures, if it is helpful to others.
I resolved the issue by opening to take the picture for you to get helped.
And I saw a paper jam, took out the paper and printing resumed.
But the message was wrong " install black toner"
Thank you 😊 🙏

Yes, I rinted after many months.
The message on the printer screen was "Install black Tomer" !!!
While it was only a paper jam and that message was not on the printer or on the computer.
It was driving me mad because of the new HP software updates prohibiting the use of recycled toners, and the new Genuine HP Toner was not recognized by the printer saying "Install black toner" not paper jam, and I buying more 83A Genuine HP toners !!!!
HP shouldn't have gone with recycled toner blocking software update but make reasoning for its tone pricing and recycling is a sustainable generally accepted environmental impact solution, messing up with that is an unreasonable addition to many many mistakes by HP and assigning them all to greed will not help HP 🙄
