I bought new ink cartridges 2/20/25 at Walmart; they will not work in my printer. The manufacturer on the label is onn., I've never heard of that name or manufacturer. The color label says the item replaces HP 67; black label says replaces HP67XL. Has anyone else run into this problem? I probably can't replace them, the original packaging is long gone. Am I just out my $38.00?

Hi @Wiesemom

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating situation—let's break it down and explore possible options:
I see that you have an issue using non-HP ink cartridges on your printer.
Please refer to the below links for more information related to your issue.
HP Printers - Dynamic Security enabled printers | HP® Support
If you are using generic or non-HP ink cartridges and the above links do not help. You will have to contact the generic ink cartridge manufacturer to assist you further with it, or you will have to use genuine HP ink cartridges to resume printing.

About onn. Cartridges:
Onn. is Walmart's in-house brand, known for producing a variety of electronics and accessories, including printer ink. While they are not counterfeit, they are third-party or generic cartridges designed to work with specific printer models.
Walmart typically has a 90-day return policy for most items. Even if the packaging is gone, explaining the situation with a receipt might help.
