Hi @S050,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP ENVY 6055e All-In-One Printer, you can follow these steps.

Using HP Smart App (Recommended Method)

Download HP Smart App:

  • On your smartphone or tablet, download and install the HP Smart app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  • On your computer, download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store (Windows) or the Mac App Store (macOS).

Prepare for Installation:

  • Ensure your printer is powered on.
  • Make sure your device (phone, tablet, or computer) is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you want your printer to connect to.
  • Place the printer close to the Wi-Fi router.

Open HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app and create or sign in to your HP account.

Add Printer:

  • In the HP Smart app, click on the plus sign (+) or "Add Printer".
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer to the app.

Connect to Wi-Fi:

  • The app should automatically detect the printer and prompt you to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Enter your Wi-Fi network password when prompted.

Complete Setup:

  • Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the setup process, including setting up HP Instant Ink if desired.

Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

Prepare the Printer:

  • Ensure your printer is powered on.
  • Place the printer close to the Wi-Fi router.

Activate WPS on the Printer:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.

Activate WPS on the Router:

  • Within 2 minutes, press and hold the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router until the connection process begins.

Wait for Connection:

  • The wireless light on the printer will stop blinking and stay solid when the printer successfully connects to the network.

Using Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Connect Printer to Network:

  • Temporarily connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.

Access EWS:

  • Open a web browser on your computer and type the printer’s IP address into the address bar. You can find the IP address on the printer's control panel or by printing a Network Configuration Page.

Configure Wi-Fi:

  • In the EWS, navigate to the "Network" or "Wireless" settings.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Complete Setup:

  • Disconnect the USB cable after the wireless setup is complete.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
