I am absolutely sick of trying the answers for my problems, nothing works and I wished I had never brought my printer. I still have the same problems since I purchased it on the 17th February 2023,

The warranty date is incorrect, the details state there is only 1 month left on the warranty.

I uploaded my proof of purchase at least 2 weeks ago and it has not been fixed.

When I print from word the first page is about the Document name, directory, author etc. I do not need this to print. It is a complete waste of paper and ink.

Is there anyone there who knows what they are doing because trying to use the virtual agent is hopeless. I was given the email address of the Auckland support. When I emailed them the email bounced. When I rung them asked for an email address so I could fix the problem that way, they refused, not only that the  person was a foreigner and I could not understand her.

So I wrote to the Auckland address over 2 weeks ago and have had no reply.

I wished I had never brougt this printer because trying to get support is abolutely hopless.

I could find the warranty information by entering the information at https://support.hp.com/nz-en/product/hp-envy-6000e-all-in-one-printer-series/2100187505/model/210018... but you will need to put the 10 digit serial number on the end of that link. Next click on the Check Warranty Status link. [FYI, the thing before the X is a zero....  It does indicate (incorreclty) the warranty ends on April 24, 2023.]

The document here discusses the procedure to dispute a warranty:  https://support.hp.com/nz-en/document/ish_2534210-1364541-16 which refers to the page here:  https://support.hp.com/nz-en/check-warranty enter your printer serial number.  [For me this page was "currently unavailable", but it is middle of the night currently in New Zealand....]  At some point the page there should report either the corrected information, or the incorrect April end of warranty.  If April is still shown there would be an opportunity on that page to submit the correct information and upload a copy of your receipt.

I do not know how long it may take them to update the warranty, it certainly could take more than a week.  If the support page above does not give the proper results, or if it allows you to enter the dispute but you do not get a response in a reasonable time please post back here with the details.  [Do not post private information (phone numbers, serial numbers, etc in the forum here.]

[For your second question I posted in your other thread here, I will repeat it here for those that may be looking for an answer:]

The issue you describe is an option in Word.  Which version of Word do you have?  In my Office 2019 version of Word this is controlled in File, Options, Display, Printing Options, and make sure the "Print Document Properties" box is not checked, OK.  Other versions of Word should have a similar option.

The printer serial number can be found as shown in the document here.  I actually found it in your other post, you gave two choices, I found the one with the "zero" was correct and the one with the "Oh" was not....

Hello Bob

I am still waiting for information regarding my previous posts but that;s OK.

I now have 2 more problems that you may be able to help me with. If you can I will really appreciate your help,

At present I cannot login  to my email account so I can't use them to solve my problems. The cell phone is my friends and I am wating for her to ring me back so I can get a code to reset my email login. Tha'ts fine.

The two problems I have are, these have occurred as I fixed other problems. LOL

My Word files are all zipped and I cannot edit them, I need this urgently. I need to know how to unzip files or mabye even folders. I have looked on Word files / options etc but cannot find any solution.

I am going to try and put all the files I want unzipped into a separate folder.

How do I get a list of all my Word files so I can put them in one folder. I did this a couple of weeks ago but cannot remember how I did it.

How do I create a new folder.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Regards

Lorraine
