I'm trying to set up instant ink for my printer via the app (and online), but I am unable get the printer code off of printer. I have pressed cancel (X) and information (i) together but nothing happens. I've managed to print the printer information page but it's not on there either.

This link just leads to enrolling through the app. I follow the steps which lead me inputting the printer code, I am unable to attain the code. It does not appear on the Printer Information Page, but to produce the code i have to press X and i buttons on the printer together; but nothing happens. I know it's the first part of the printer's own email address but there is nothing to reference.

I can't understand why this would be necessary to ascertain what ink is needed when it would be easier to put in the cartridge number, unless it was to have direct connection from the printer to Instant Ink, but then surely the printer's IP address would be better.

My problem is not being able to get the required printer code to go on to the next step.
