I understand your HP ENVY 5052 printer is not printing in color. Let’s go through some troubleshooting steps to fix this.
Check Print Settings
○ On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
○ Right-click your HP ENVY 5052, select Printing Preferences.
○ Make sure Color (not Black & White / Grayscale) is selected.
○ Set Print Quality to Normal or Best.
Verify Ink Levels
○ Open the HP Smart App or check the printer control panel.
○ Ensure all cartridges, especially color cartridges, have sufficient ink.
Run Printer Diagnostics
○ Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor (download from HP Support) to detect and fix printing issues.
Clean Printheads
○ From the printer control panel or HP Smart App, run the Clean Printhead or Align Printhead utility.
○ Repeat the cleaning once or twice if needed.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
○ Uninstall the current driver via Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
○ Download and install the latest HP drivers for your model and Windows 10 32-bit from HP Support.
Test Print
○ Print a test page or a document with color.
○ If the color still doesn’t print, try a different application to rule out software issues.
