Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8024 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi there. I bought Generic Ink Cartridges for my OfficeJet Pro 8924 printer but any attempt to override just comes back with printer busy message. I have browsed into the printer settings and Cartridge Protection switch is 'Off'. I have reset the printer and laptop. Printer shows message that Non HP ink is regognised and print is blocked.

 

Please help..

Hi @Adrian_OB,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

 

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it is not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.
