@DebbieDinks19, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Removing the Black Cartridge from HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are having difficulty removing the black ink cartridge from your HP DeskJet 3755 printer, follow these steps carefully:

Turn the Printer On:

  • Make sure the printer is powered on. Press the Power button if it is not already on.

Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door:

  • Locate the ink cartridge access door on your printer.
  • Open the access door to reveal the ink cartridges. Opening the ink cartridge access door

Wait for the Carriage to Move:

  • Wait until the carriage (where the ink cartridges are housed) stops moving and is idle.
  • This might take a few seconds.

Gently Press Down on the Ink Cartridge:

  • Press down lightly on the black ink cartridge to release it.
  • The cartridge will tilt slightly, allowing you to grasp it. Pressing down on the ink cartridge to release the cartridge

Pull the Ink Cartridge Out:

  • Carefully pull the cartridge out of its slot.
  • Make sure you are only touching the black plastic part of the cartridge. Removing the new ink cartridge from its package

If the cartridge is stuck and won’t release when pressed down, make sure the carriage is fully stopped and there are no obstructions.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
