HP Recommended

I got the following error code on my HP Office Jet Pro 8025 "One or more cartridges are missing or damaged". There is still 1/3 of the ink left in all of the colored cartridges and a brand new black cartridge was installed. I followed all of the instructions about taking the cartridges out, cleaning, unplugging from the wall, etc. but nothing worked. I was then told by a salesperson that HP had a batch of BAD cartridges a while back. I bought ALL new cartridges and the printer is working again. Is there any way to get a refund - at least for
