Hi @jpred,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code oxc19a0013 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 typically indicates an issue with the printhead. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this problem.

Turn Off and Unplug the Printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5-10 minutes before plugging it back in.

Check Printhead Installation:

  • Open the printer access door.
  • Carefully remove the printhead by releasing the latch or tab that holds it in place.
  • Inspect the printhead and ensure it’s not damaged or clogged with dried ink.
  • Reinstall the printhead securely, making sure it clicks into place.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove them and reinstall them to make sure they’re seated correctly.
  • If the cartridges are low or empty, replace them with new ones.

Clean the Printhead: If you notice any ink buildup, clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and the corresponding contacts in the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth. You can also use a little isopropyl alcohol on the cloth.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Hold down the power button for about 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Update or Reinstall Drivers:

  • Check for updates for your printer drivers on the HP website. Reinstalling the drivers can sometimes resolve communication issues.

Perform a Printer Self-Test:

  • Many HP printers have a self-test feature. You can access this through the printer's menu. It can help diagnose if the issue is with the printhead or the printer itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
