Product: HP Envy 5012
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP envy 5012. Can I substitute black cartridge 64 for 65?  I need to print ASAP and am out of black ink.  I do not have toner 65 but I do have a 64.

 

Alternatively, I have plenty of color ink.  Can I print somehow just using that?

No. HP 64 ink cartridges work with: HP ENVY Photo 6252, 6255, 6258, 7155, 7158, 7164, 7855, 7858, 7864. HP ENVY 5542.

 

Your printer is not on the list.
