I have a brand new Smart Tank 7006 that I can't get to print in colour from my iMac running on OS Sequoia 15.1

When I go to print a document, the only options I have are black & white. How can I change these to give me the option to print in colour?

It won't print in color because there is no driver for this current system.

Try this basic installation to see if we have any success.

If not, it is incompatibility.

The printer is already installed, appears in Printers & Scanners & prints fine in black & white, just not in colour.

 

When I bought it at Currys/PC World, the sales guy told me it would work fine on Mac OS Sequoia 15.1 & when I installed it the HP Smart app says: "HP Smart is compatible with macOS 11 or higher. If you are using an older version of macOS, update your system or use an alternative setup option."  I have higher than OS 11 so it should work fine, but you're now telling me you don't have the driver for it. Well that's just great isn't it? When will you have the driver for it?

It won't work.

You can even send the driver link here to the dealer
