I recently installed a 131a black toner cartridge, brand new. It came in a bulk pack of three colors plus a black. It immediately printed horrible black smudges across the left side of the page. I tried the clean page and troubleshooting which didn't work, so I bought another one. brand new and HP. The replacement cartridge printed just fine out of the box. Now I'm out about $90! I bought the original multi-color set awhile ago through Amazon and paid roughly $400 for the set. I bought it in advance because I'm a teacher and cannot afford to run out of toner, so they sat in the box for a few months. I've never had a problem with any HP laser cartridges before. Please help! Thank you.
