I have an 8710 pro printer that used 953 ink cartridges. I can only find 952 cartridges and when I tried to put those it will say incompatible ink cartridges. I can't find any 953 cartridges

As per the information, your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer is designed to work with original HP 952 and HP 952XL ink cartridges.

Thank you. I actually brought this printer in the Netherlands and then moved to US. When I install the HP 952XL cartridges it tells me is an incorrect cartridge and it will not allow me to print. Is there any way I can correct this problem?

I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

NOTE: regional reset is attempted on a best-effort basis, it might not work on all printers. 

 

 We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

 

To access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
