I just set up an HP Envy Photo 6255 printer to my wireless network and when I try to print even a test page the page is completly blank and my ink is over half full. I haven't used the printer in awhile but I have cleaned the cartridges 3 times so far and it's still not fixed.

Hi @polly40,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy Photo 6255 printer is not printing anything despite having ink in the cartridges, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. You mentioned that the ink is over half full, but it's always a good idea to double-check the levels using the printer software on your computer.
- Run Print Head Cleaning: Run a print head cleaning utility from the printer software or the printer control panel. This can help unclog any dried ink and improve print quality.
- Align the Print Heads: Many printers have an option to align the print heads. This ensures that the nozzles are properly aligned for optimal print quality. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your HP Envy Photo 6255 printer.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Firmware updates can sometimes resolve printing issues. You can find firmware updates on the HP support website.
- Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges: Make sure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP cartridges or refilled cartridges may cause printing problems.
- Check Paper and Print Settings: Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper, and that the print settings match your paper and quality preferences.
- Perform a Test Print: Print a test page directly from the printer's control panel to check if the issue is with the computer or the printer itself.
- Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the printer software from your computer and then reinstall it. This can sometimes resolve software-related issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
