Check Ink Cartridge Installation
- Make sure the black cartridge is properly installed and the protective plastic tape has been removed.
- Open the cartridge access door and gently press down on the black cartridge to ensure it’s seated correctly.
Use Genuine HP Ink

Run Printhead Cleaning
- Open the HP Smart app on your PC or mobile device.

- In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Reports > Print Quality Report.
- This helps identify if the issue is with the black ink or the printhead.
