I keep getting a low ink message after I’ve just changed the cartridge. I have an  HP OfficeJET 3830 printer. Every print job I have to hit OK when it comes up LOW INK. I CLEARED IT IN THE HP APP BUT ITS BACK AGAIN!!

If you are consistently getting a low ink message on your HP OfficeJet 3830, it could be due to a number of reasons. Here are some things you can try to resolve the issue.

 

  • Check ink levels: Make sure to check the ink levels on your printer. You can do this by accessing the ink level indicator from your printer's control panel or from the printer software on your computer. If the ink level is low, then you need to replace the cartridge.
  • Replace the ink cartridge: If the ink level is low, then replace the ink cartridge with a new one. Make sure to use the correct cartridge for your printer model.
  • Clean the printhead: Sometimes, the ink nozzle on the printhead gets clogged due to dried ink or dust. This can cause a low ink message. To clean the printhead, go to your printer's control panel and select the "Setup" option. From there, select "Tools" and then "Clean Printhead." Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cleaning process.
  • Reset the printer: If the above steps do not work, try resetting the printer. To reset the printer, turn it off and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This may help clear any error messages.
