I lost the original setup cartridges and I am receiving an error that tells me that I need them to set up my printer.

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

 

Not to worry, let me share the steps to override the need for setup cartridges.

 

Since these steps are specific to your printer and can brick if tried on any other model, I am sending you a private message with steps.

 

To access your private messages, simply click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile name.
