I was prompted to replace the black cartridge and did so. It still wouldn't print because it then prompted me to replace blue. Blue cartridge arrived today and is installed but it still won't print --- now it tells me I need to replace yellow.
I only want to print in black and white. Help!

Hi @italiano5
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet 4133e is requiring all cartridges to be functional, even though you only want to print in black and white.
Here's how you can address this:
1. Enable Black Ink Only Mode
On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right-click your printer and select Printing Preferences.
Look for an option like Print in Grayscale or Black Ink Only and enable it.
2. Check Printer Settings
On the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app, ensure the settings are configured for black-and-white printing.
3. Single Cartridge Mode
Your printer support single cartridge mode, allowing you to print with only the black cartridge.
The single-cartridge mode is initiated when an ink cartridge is removed from the ink cartridge carriage. During single-cartridge mode, the printer can copy documents, copy photos, and print jobs from the computer.
NOTE: When the printer operates in single-cartridge mode, a message is displayed on the printer display.
If the message is displayed and two ink cartridges are installed in the printer, verify that the protective piece of plastic tape has been removed from each ink cartridge.
When plastic tape covers the ink cartridge contacts, the printer cannot detect that the ink cartridge is installed.
Install two ink cartridges in the printer to exit single-cartridge mode.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
