I replaced the cartridges of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer. But when I tried to print I received an error message asking me to register my new ink. The problem is the printer is in Africa now. I would like to be able to use it without an hp subscription. I just want to use my ink until it finishes and buy a new one.

Are you still enrolled in the instant ink program?
If yes, I am afraid the Instant Ink subscription is available in Africa.
However, you will need to either cancel or pause the subscription until you return to the location where it was initially enrolled.
Once the subscription is canceled, if the printer is still in Africa, you will need to perform a regional reset on the printer and use regular ink cartridges available in Africa.
If you are looking to do the region reset, I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
