Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After a number of frustrating hours on chat with HP, I finally was told HP has changed the chip in these 951 and 950 cartridges and, because of that, HP does not have a new cartridge that will work on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium!  They just try to force me to buy a new printer.

 

I don't want a new printer unless you want to give me one for free.

  1. Will a regional reset work and will you do that? 
  2. Do I need older or newer firmware and how do I get it?
  3. Do I have Dynamic Security and can I remove it?
  4. Will an older cartridge work in my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium?
