The tonercartridge for Black was almost empty, so I decided to change the cartridge. I had never any trouble or sounds.
I had bought the original HP cartidge for black, being 201X - CF400XD , the High Volume. I opened the printer, removed the old tonercartridge and placed the new one carefully on its place. The printer informed that I was installing a original and started Calibrating? Anyhow, I asked for a new survey of the cartridges status. The printer started to print, but immediately I heard a repeating sound, difficult to describe, but think on a turning wheel that bumps over a small obstacle.
It printed the report in weak black with a missing "Date first installation".
Somehow the cartidge seems not good installing or is there still something that must be removed, I don't know, because the only instruction that is included is about returning the old one. One thing for sure: there was no problem at all before this. Can you explain and help?
