Hi @9suchi,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the cartridge in your HP DeskJet 4720 is stuck because it's inserted the wrong way, follow these steps to remove it.
- Turn on the Printer: Make sure the printer is on so that the cartridge carriage moves to the center.
- Open the Cartridge Access Door: Gently lift the lid to access the cartridges. Be careful not to force it.
- Locate the Stuck Cartridge: Find the cartridge that's incorrectly placed.
- Gently Push Down: Press down gently on the cartridge to release it from its slot. This may help in loosening it.
- Remove the Cartridge: Carefully pull out the cartridge. If it's still stuck, try moving it back and forth gently while pulling it out.
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure there are no obstructions or foreign objects blocking the cartridge's path.
- Correctly Reinsert the Cartridge: Insert the cartridge correctly into the slot. Make sure it clicks into place.
- Close the Access Door: Once the cartridge is properly seated, close the cartridge access door and wait for the printer to initialize.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
