Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden my ink cartridges are no longer compatible? They are not HP ink cartridges but when I bought them a year ago they were compatible. I keep getting this error message on my printer that says " This printer is not designed to use continuous ink systems. To resume printing, remove ink system and install original HP (or compatible) cartridges. Is there an easy fix to this besides buying new cartridges?

Hi @ashgoodenough,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.
There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it's not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.
click here and please check HP Printers - Dynamic Security enabled printers
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
