Hi @Wrightachris1,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to know how to identify HP Instant Ink cartridges, follow these steps:

  • Check Cartridge Packaging: Look for a label or packaging that indicates the cartridges are part of the Instant Ink program. They typically have a "HP Instant Ink" logo.
  • Cartridge Model Numbers: Each Instant Ink cartridge has a specific model number. You can find this number on the cartridge itself or in the printer's settings.
  • HP Smart App: If you have the HP Smart app installed on your Mac, it can show you the ink levels and whether your cartridges are enrolled in the Instant Ink program. Open the app and select your printer.
  • Printer Display: Many HP printers have a display screen that shows the ink levels and may indicate if the cartridges are part of Instant Ink.
  • Visit HP’s Website: You can enter your printer model on the HP website to see a list of compatible Instant Ink cartridges.

The instant ink cartridges will have " Instant ink" written on them.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
