HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277

My laserjet printer makes a lot of magenta spots when printing. Mainly on the left hand side but also som spots on the right, even when only printing black and white. I have made the self-cleaning on the printer several times - it gets a little better for som prints but not totally and then it is back again. If I print the same document in black and white and also in colour there are less magenta spots when I print colour (even when the printed document is mainly in black and white)

The magenta inc is not recently changed and still has 80%.

Hi @Cafau ,

the problem here is caused by the defective magenta cartridge.
This should be reclaimed. But in any case, this magenta cartridge must be replaced.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello @Cafau ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I suspect the magenta cartridge is causing the problem here.

Once print the Supplies Status page then scan and upload here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large", original size at least 200 KB.
But before you must remove or delete the personal data and printer serial number on the printout.

Regards
Andreas
