I bought the printer in Denmark and used it with the Instant Ink product; however, I have recently relocated to Panama where I have unenrolled from the Instant Ink program, as it does not work in the country, and bought and replaced for the regular HP cartridges (HP Ink Cartridges 63). Once I have installed the new cartridges the Incompatible Cartridge error appears.
The web services are also disabled!
Appreciate your advice on how to resolve the issues.
Thanks, and regards,
Andres

Hi @Andres24,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're encountering an "Incompatible Cartridge" error on your HP Officejet 3833 after replacing the Instant Ink cartridges with regular HP Ink Cartridges 63, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Turn Off and On:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Make sure that the new cartridges are securely and correctly installed. Open the cartridge access door and ensure that they are properly snapped into place.
Clean Cartridge Contacts:
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove the cartridges.
- Use a lint-free cloth to gently wipe the electrical contacts on the cartridges.
- Reinstall the cartridges and turn on the printer.
Firmware Update:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website.
- If an update is available, follow the instructions to update the firmware.
Factory Reset:
- Perform a factory reset on your printer. Be aware that this will erase any custom settings you have made.
- Refer to your printer's manual or HP support website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
Please note that using non-HP cartridges or cartridges not intended for the region where the printer was originally purchased might sometimes cause compatibility issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
