HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer - J610a
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I recently purchased two original HP 122XL cartridges (code CH564HB on the cartridge and CH563HL on the box) for use in my DeskJet 3050 J610a printer (model CH383C). I had already used one of the cartridges in a few prints, and after connecting a device during WiFi printing, the printer crashed with code 0x0005FBB6. After restarting it, the printer normally printed a sheet and soon after it indicated a cartridge failure, sometimes saying "problem with the black cartridge" and "incompatible black cartridge". I've already followed the procedures described in the forums, restarted my printer by pressing the cancel and color copy button, I also switched to the second cartridge and the same error appeared.

More carefully, I read on the cartridge box that it can only be sold in Latin America, as it is in Spanish. I didn't know that there was a distinction between regions for the sale of cartridges, so I searched the website and found information that support could provide a code to get around this region lock, however the only support channel is the forums, as I couldn't find a phone number, email, or virtual chat with an attendant.
I would like this problem to be resolved as soon as possible, as the cartridges are expensive and I don't want to go beyond the 30-day period before I can get my money back. I am disappointed with the experience with this printer, as every now and then there is a problem with printing, and I would not hesitate to change manufacturer to have a printer that does not have such a high maintenance cost and does not have so many restrictions regarding the use of cartridges.

Hello Fabio_L32!
I've tried all those procedures and no success. So I managed to contact HP support and with the pictures of my cartridges they've come to conclusion that my cartridges were counterfeit and I already asked for a refund. Thank you for your attention!
