Hello, Good day!

We recently bought an ink cartridge for our HP 1115 since the old one seemed to be broken, originally it was 652. But there was no 652 here in the Philippines. From what I heard this printer of ours is from Asia, probably here in the Philippines as well or Saudi Arabia. Yet, the cartridge is not compatible, I made sure it was before buying and even checked that in Pacific Asia it's HP 680, so of course I decided to buy it. But now it's not compatible and I can't even print, please help us. What can I do to make it compatible? What to do? 

Also upon checking on the HP 680 box, our printer and that cartridge is compatible. It even shows that it's compatible for HP DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE 1115, and we have that printer. Yet it DOES NOT work, please help us:(.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Before we proceed to perform the reset, I would like to know the following: 

  • Do you have a USB cable that connects the printer and the computer? It will be required to perform the regionalization. 

  • What is the Operating System installed on your computer? 

  • Do you have the full-featured software of the printer installed on your computer? 

  • Do you have the new ink cartridges with you?
