HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4515 e-All-in-One Printer

Recently I purchased HP Genuine Tri-color and Black Cartridges 678 for my printer HP Deskjet 4515. The printer is not accepting the black cartridge and there is an error message "The installed cartridge is not intended for use in this printer". These are brand new cartridges. How do I reset the printer to accept the cartridges. Do I need to rollback the firmware?
