Product: Officejet 8620
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Officejet 8620 purchased in the United States that will only accept 950/951 z20 cartridges.  These cartridges aren’t available in US stores.  Can the printer be updated to accept the z10 cartridges that are available locally?

Thanks for the offer.  The printer cartridge has been reset with the assistance of another user…the printer now accepts the z10 cartridges available in the United States.

I have the opposite problem.

 

I have a 8620 that has Z20's in it however due to a firmware update from HP it now wont accept the local Z40 cartridges.

 

I have changed the region to Australia however I believe I need some kind of code from HP which is generated off my printers serial to do it now.

 

Ideally I would prefer to just have my old firmware that accepted any compatible cartridge however at the moment being able to at least use the Z40 would mean the printer could be utilized.
