I have purchased several HP 962 color cartridges and they all say incompatible. I know they are the correct cartridges. I have tried the unplugging suggestion and that has not worked. (I currently have 3 black and 3 of each color cartridge - all brand new and none work).
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
Then reinstall the cartridges
