Hi! I also have a DeskJet Ink Advantage 1515 from Middle East and the ink will emptied soon so I planned to buy but ink 650 is not available here in the Philippines, as what they say, and ink of 678 was suggested. How could I make it compatible for my printer? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to HP Support Community!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Keep me posted.

Before we proceed to perform the reset, I would like to know the following:
-
Do you have a USB cable that connects the printer and the computer? It will be required to perform the regionalization.
-
What is the Operating System installed on your computer?
-
Do you have the full-featured software of the printer installed on your computer?
-
Do you have the new ink cartridges with you?
Keep me posted.

Sorry for the delayed reply, Yes, I have USB cable connecting my printer and computer. I'm currently using Windows 10, 64-bit OS. i don't have cartridges with me yet and planning to buy 678 because based on my research, 678 can be the replacement for ink 650 here in the Philippines for my printer. I'm using HP Deskjet 1510 Series: HP Printer Assistant
