I have an HP Envy 5640 that has been working fine. Still, after I tried to install a new cartridge (genuine) it comes up with "Ink Cartridge Problem" (Only with Black ink) Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed, and then touch ok" I have tried resetting the printer, cleaned the cartridge, cleaned the inside of the cartridge chamber, I have disconnected and reconnected the printer. I also tried resetting the memory by inserting the old cartridge, waiting for 10 minutes, then replacing it with the new cartridge and turning the printer off and on. That also didn't work!
But the black ink works fine if I use Instant Ink
Can someone help me?

@SmMinhaj, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you are enrolled into instant ink, you will have to use HP instant ink cartridges.
If canceled, at the end of the billing cycle, replace the instant ink cartridges with Original HP cartridges. Which cartridges work with my HP printer? | HP® Support
Please try these steps,
Clean Cartridge Contacts
Even if you've done this, try again with extra care:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Remove the black cartridge.
- Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water to gently clean the gold-colored contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer.
- Let everything dry for 10 minutes before reinserting.
Reset the Printer
- With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the back.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall and then into the printer.
- Turn the printer back on.
Try a Different Genuine Cartridge
If possible, try another genuine HP 62 or 62XL black cartridge. Sometimes, even new cartridges can be defective.
Check for Firmware Updates
Outdated firmware can cause cartridge recognition issues.
- Go to HP Software and Driver Downloads and enter your printer model.
- Download and install the latest firmware for your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
