Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-in-One Printer

I have an OfficeJet 8028.  I just changed all the cartridges and I am getting Error that they are blocked by Firmware.

I am ready to throw this printer out.

When I purchased it, I signed up for the Ink Program.  I found myself needing to run out and get ink because it was not delivered on time, when I needed it. 

I eventually moved back to an office setting, and rarely use this printer.  Now that I NEED to print something NOW, I can't print using the HP Ink program ink because I am no longer signed up, and the ink I have is not chip based so the printer firmware is blocking it.  I am ready to throw this and EVERY HP product out the window. 

VA is no help.  And of course, the warranty is expired so HP won't talk to me.  Probably a good this at this point in my level of frustration. 

I have done the trouble shooting:

- unplugged printer, waited 60 seconds, plug is back in.

- removed the ink and reinstalled

- updated the firmware
