my printer cannot detect cartridge levels and is stating that brand new cartridges are depleted. less than 14,000 pages have been printed off in the 4 year history of this product and it shouldn't be failing now. It has a very clean and healthy environment. Any help that can be provided, I will be grateful.
Further information
The printer just got brand new cartridges which usually last around a year for us. We're a small office that prints things daily but not very much. The cartridges showed rapid depletion within a month and are already out, we can't even print black and white. We haven't printed any large jobs so this is shocking to us. We're certain it's an issue with the printer because there is no reason for this to be happening right now.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand you are getting this error on the printer. If you have already performed the steps from the document ink cartridge error: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Hope this helps!

I did the troubleshooting steps and it is still yet unresolved. The HP Support line (which we had to pay extra for?) decided to send us a replacement for yellow, however the cyan and black are also very low when we haven't printed much in the 30 days we've had this. We have no idea what's going on and they're considering our case "solved" when all they're doing is replacing the cartridge. We want this fixed, not just replaced. What happens if the new one depletes in another 30 days after printing 5 pages?
