I have been paying close to $5 /m for “ink jet subscription”. I had decided to cancel but was told I would get a package of ink sent to my address to keep the subscription? I have paid A LOT for this subscription and really I just don’t use that much ink.

i feel I was stopped into keeping the subscription and I actually never received the ink the representative said they would send!

I would like 2-3 ink packets and to cancel my subscription. I think that is fair, if not please just cancel my inkjet subscription. I have been paying for no products.

Hi @gjhabs,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

Here are a few points on how Instant Ink works:

> Instant Ink printing plans are based on pages, not cartridges. You choose an Instant Ink plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly.

> You only pay for the planned pages you've selected.

> Cartridges are not sent by the month. You will only receive cartridges when your printer tells us you need them, based on your ink usage. Or low on ink.

> HP Instant Ink cartridges are very high capacity, so most customers don't require frequent shipments. You must keep your printer connected to the internet and your shipping address and payment method up to date to avoid service interruption.

Note: When you cancel your Instant Ink account, the cartridges provided through the Instant Ink subscription may no longer work. Instant Ink cartridges are designed to function only while you are subscribed to the service. Once the subscription is canceled, the cartridges may be disabled and cease to work.
