Product: Smart Tank 551
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am buying an HP Smart Tank 551 but I have a lot of leftover refill ink intended for 952/952XL. Can I use the 952 ink in the Smart Tank 551 though it comes with ink numbered 31/32?

@DavidMacD1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

No, you cannot use HP 952 ink cartridges in HP Smart tank printers. You may either take them to a local store and get a credit or please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region to check the available options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
