Hello,

I am having issues with my Hp Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M 477fnw printer/copier. It is leaving repetitive traces of ink/toner from a roller on all of the pages that it prints off. Primarily the smudge marks are in black depending on my color settings which are primarily in black.

I printed off a Supplies Status report and my first install of the black cartridge was 8-30-2024 of the Hi Yield black 410X (CF410X). I have not had any issues prior to this cartridge and able to use them though their cycle.

As of now, I am showing that I still have approximately 2200 pages left of toner ink/toner to be used. I have been dealing with this issues for several months. I have changed my paper and done the cleaning page process on the Maintenance program of the copier several times and no changes to the outcome of the smudge marks.

I feel like the ink/toner cartridge may be defective. I would like some assistance in this issue.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward in hearing back from you.

Measure the distance between 2 blotches. If it is 57 mm, you have a damaged fuser ( fuser roller), which is the most common issue on M477.
